Turn around Time?
Once your Beast Specification Cut Up Sheet and deposit has been received allow 14 days to receive your meat from ordering. Your beast will hang for 12 days. Typically the longer it hangs the better the meat quality. NB: Saturday p.m. cut off for the weeks orders. (We muster Sunday mornings). We LOVE to support our local community by doing business locally. Our meat is processed by a local abattoir, shipped and then cut up, packaged, labeled and frozen for you by a local butcher.
Freezer Room? Portion Sizes?
As a guide our average size Yearling dresses at approximately 160kg . A side or HALF of this beast 80kg Av ) packs into approx 2 large size grocery boxes plus any dog bones or offal you may or may not want. (Av Quarter 40kg ) fits in 1 large grocery box.
All stakes are layered in shatter packs so each stake can be individually removed as you require it from your freezer rather than defrosting the whole pack.
